My name is Holly and I’m a licensed mental health counselor and registered dietitian. I specialize in working with adults of all ages and teens struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, eating or weight issues, and difficult health diagnoses. I help by offering a holistic and trauma-informed approach that capitalizes on each person’s strengths, values, and goals so that you can improve your wellbeing and happiness. I use a combination of parts-based work (a model for individuals called internal family systems), cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. I know it can be nerve-wracking to meet a new therapist. In our first few sessions, we will get to know each other a little bit and you can decide if working with me is the right fit for you.
I’ll be asking some questions to get to know what’s been going on for you. I’ll also answer any questions you might have, and we’ll talk about the general outline of what your therapy will look like, although we can pivot later if needed. This will include tools, how we can track progress, etc.
My practice is unique because I have a strong background in helping individuals take the actions they want to take to improve their quality of life. Helping others live their best life is what gives me great joy and purpose in my own life. Please don't hesitate to contact me. I look forward to talking with you!
I'm a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist as well as LCPC with a Master of Science in Counseling. I have over 25 years of experience helping individuals who are feeling stuck in life and overwhelmed by their issues. I look forward to helping you live with more ease and wellbeing.
