It is in our experiences of both positive and negative that we become a whole person. These small and large hurts can create a sense of disconnection and a want to protect ourselves from future hurt. In consilience, the opening of a space within ourselves to allow our truths to be known and understood creates the ability to be more solidly authentic with ourselves and therefore with others. Cultivating compassion for ourselves and our shortcomings allows compassion for others. Within connectivity is the healing force we all crave.
